Cannes, ah the beautiful, magical town nestled in the South France. The epitome of classic luxury. Needless to say, I got extremely excited getting to visit last month, and also getting to stay in no other but Hotel Barriere le Majestic Cannes. Hotel Barriere le Majestic Cannes invented luxury it seems, and I had the most fabulous experience during my stay. I got picked up from Nice Airport and driven straight to Cannes, to only be whisked away to my enormous room, overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean . I genuinely felt like a princess. The room Hotel Barriere le…

If you have asked me what do I know about Rosé Champagne prior to last week, I probably would have said I know it’s rose in colour. However, I attended a fabulous masterclass of Rosé champagne pairing and tasting and I learnt oh so much. I have never been a person who understands wine (like the people who can taste, swirl and comment smartly on what they are drinking), I just drink what they give me and say mmm. If someone asked me to about champagne, it gets even worse. Not anymore. Following this fabulous lunch and masterclass with the…

Jersey is  part of the Channel islands, located between England and France and is just 30 minutes away on a plane from Gatwick. It is the perfect place to do a quick getaway when the hustle and bustle gets much, enjoying endless beaches, Michelin star food and beautiful sights. I had the pleasure of visiting back in March. The island is relatively small, and you can drive everywhere. St Helier (island centre area) is about 20 minutes drive from the airport. We stayed at The Club hotel, which is a centrally located, five star property which boasts a spa which…

There is so much rumbling about #ad on Instagram, that it got me thinking. When is an ad, truly an ‘ad’? There is the obvious, old school thought – if you are getting paid to promote something, then it is advertisement. I feel the world is slightly different than that though. Although the ASA is really trying hard to put guidelines around ads on instagram, I still feel there is a trick missing. What about the ads? I do ads, I do free stuff, I also do my own content. However, there is one thing I do not do -…

I am writing this post for the industry, not that one more piece of content will change the world but it makes me feel better for sharing. I am writing this post for all the content creators out there as well – do not sell yourselves short and appreciate your own work. Instagram and blogging have become  full time jobs/small business ventures for many. However, it seems that the marketing and PR industries still see it as a free form of advertising, or a meal for 2 worth of ads. I believe everything in life has a price (except all…

I was invited to review Roslin beach hotel. I recently got to visit Southend on Sea and the beautiful Roslin Beach hotel. I have never been this side of the coast and I was so pleasantly surprised by how cute it is. The hotel is located right in the middle of the beautiful promenade of Southend on Sea, opening up to stunning sunrise and sunset views for its guests. Roslin Beach hotel has been recently refurbished and the rooms have taken inspiration from the sea in their color scheme and details. Check in It was so flawless and personal.…

While I spent the month of Mayfair with The Athenaeum hotel, I had the chance to walk around my favourite neighbourhood and photograph everything I wanted. I have created a small guide to some of my personal favourite places (which are all a 15min walk maximum from the hotel by the way, should you decide to stay there). Mayfair is not only glitzy cars and bling, it has a lot of beautiful, historical places that are totally worth the wander. Shepherds market Mount Street Burlington Arcade Coach and Horses Sketch Fortnum and Mason Annabel’s Wild things flowers Claridges Liberty Bond…

I had the pleasure of staying at The Athenaeum Hotel over the month of November. I got to experience the rooms, suites and the beautiful residences (which stole my heart by the way). I wanted to share my experience with you, and also share some of my favourite Mayfair spots too. Location The Athenaeum is located perfectly. 5 min walk from Green Park and Hyde Park Corner stations, overlooking beautiful Green Park and Buckingham palace. Another 5 min in the opposite direction take you to one of my favourite places in London – Shepherds market. The Residences The Athenaeum offers…

I wanted to write a post about the times that it has not been OK, the past year. I spend most of my time looking for the beautiful angles of life, to share on here and my Instagram. However, the past year has been a lot of things but I will struggle to call it beautiful for me. Sharing this post now is important, as I know that many people struggle during the holiday season. Sitting and scrolling through people’s ‘perfect’ lives on social media does not help the feeling of loneliness, anxiety and fear. I just wanted to raise…
