The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts and is a new discovery for me. Nestled as you may guess – in the Chelsea Harbour – it is a beauty. The location is private, quiet and a little bit more Monacco than London. With yachts slowly moving from side to side in the harbour, the Thames running right behind the hotel and what brings you back to London is the stunning view of the London Eye, and the City in the distance. The Penthouse suite The suite is absolutely gorgeous, floor to ceiling windows opening up to…

Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa is located in the stunning Lake District, and more precisely the Borrowdale valley. Driving up to the hotel in the winding countryside routes, surrounded by greenery and the lake, is an experience of its own. On arrival, you are greeted warmly by the local team, making you feel at home straight away. There is something about countryside hotels – they feel more like a home, more cosy and kind of like you are entering a warm hug when you check in. The warmth of the staff in Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa, makes this experience…

The perfect weekend, dreaming of it on a Tuesday. I am sure I am not the only one either, so let’s talk about it. A few weekends ago, I had a beautiful weekend spent with my lovely Matilde @mylondonfairytales , and here is a quick weekend getaway idea for you. East London is diverse, so what do you say we mix it up a bit, start at the Four Seasons, all 5 stars, end with a .40p bagel to die for? Up for it? The read on. Lunch at Mei Ume at the Four Seasons Matilde knows how to treat…

I merely do not venture East often enough, so having the opportunity to do a quick staycation with Andaz London, Liverpool street was a welcome incentive. The Location The hotel is located right off Liverpool street station and is super convenient to access the city or central London. It is also super convenient to access one of my favourite places in the East – The bagel shop Beigel Bake (about that later on). Andaz Liverpool street is nestled in a red brick Victorian building and is one of the original Railway hotels, dating back to 1884. The interiors however are…

August has been a busy and exciting month discovering new places and visiting some Insta famous ones. 39 Steps coffee, Soho This was a surprise find. I have never seen it or been to it before but it is perfect and I definitely recommend a visit if you are in Soho. Even if you are not in Soho, put it on your list to visit. The pancakes are to die for – I cannot wait to go back and eat another portion as they are perfect. Fluffy, not too sweet and just with the right fruit to sauce ratio. The…

Rolls Royce Yes, this actually happened. I got to drive a Rolls Royce around London, and it is as good as it sounds – even better.  H. R Owen are the world’s best dealership for Rolls Royce, located in the heart of Mayfair’s Berkley Square.  I know it is so far fetched thinking about buying one, however if you do, this is the place to purchase it from, as the guys are the best in the business, literally. For souls like me, who are not planning on buying anything more than a fancy pair of shoes, this is what it…

Soho House proudly opened its brand new hotel just last month. The new house is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in a beautifully repurposed 1930s university building , overlooking the Singel canal.  I was so lucky to get the opportunity to stay there 2 weeks after its official opening. A bit about Soho House – it is a private members club, which prides itself on privacy and tranquility. No photography is allowed, neither is talking on the phone – it may sound scary but in reality, it is all very zen. The room The entrance is private, with subtle…

It was a new territory for me when I got invited to my first immersive dining experience in London. I did not know what to expect or how to feel about it, however I was really curious, so I headed off to Pedler street station. The Murdér Express The Murdér Express is a luxury train carriage on Pedler Street station, where you walk through and you step back in time – to the beautiful 50s. The platform, the people, the drinks the bar, the light – it all says goodbye Instagram hello pearls and feathers. Get a drink by the…

You have now taken the first step towards your AirBnB hosting experience – made up your spare room, or your flat, and ready to get that listing going.  Setting up your basic listing is easy, a few steps and then you are ready to go. However, in a place like London competition is high. So how do you make it stand out? When you are a new host, you do not get a star rating It might be difficult for your first guest to make a booking without any references. AirBnB gives you the option to get references from your…

A mix and match this June with my favourite discoveries and some old favourites. The beauty of London is that it is the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to spots to have a cuppa. Zedel One unexpected new favourite this month. I mean have I been living under a rock never to have visited this place before? Smack down in the middle of Piccadilly Circus? I was a bit shocked with my own lack of knowledge about this place’s existence. Thanks to my beautiful friend @anamaria.marin I got to discover it. Brace yourselves – it is huge.…
