I was invited to review Roslin beach hotel.
I recently got to visit Southend on Sea and the beautiful Roslin Beach hotel. I have never been this side of the coast and I was so pleasantly surprised by how cute it is. The hotel is located right in the middle of the beautiful promenade of Southend on Sea, opening up to stunning sunrise and sunset views for its guests. Roslin Beach hotel has been recently refurbished and the rooms have taken inspiration from the sea in their color scheme and details.
It was so flawless and personal. My room was not ready but the guys at reception were so sweet about it and made me feel so welcome and comfy while I waited. It literally took 30 minutes to get the room done but I had a lovely time having a coffee in the lobby in the meantime.
O-M-G the beauty. I love pastel blue and green and the room was a dream. The bed was a beautiful green colour, also huge and super comfy. The room then opened up to a cosy sitting and vanity area, overlooking the beautiful coast. The room boasts a balcony wrapped up around it, which is perfect for those summer nights and a cocktail or two. The bathroom was obviously a stunner as well, having a shower and a bath. I love bathrooms with both, as I am not the biggest fan of bath tubs to be honest. There was a coffee machine too and a fabulously working internet, so i was one happy guest. Could have as well lived there 🙂
I have tried a Sunday roast here and there but nothing compares to the abundance of delicious food that came my way at Roslin beach Hotel. Their Sunday evening menu is multiple variations of Sunday roast with sides – and it was the best thing ever. The portions were seriously the biggest I have ever seen, and it was so tasty. It felt home cooked and fresh. I literally had to roll out of my seat to get back to the room and they sent me jolly on my way with a bucket of ice cream, to enjoy in bed. I was seriously living my best life that weekend.
Breakfast was exceptional as well. I did oversleep a bit but the guys were kind enough to let me do breakfast anyway. I am telling you the staff at Roslin Beach hotel is its greatest asset – they are all so sweet. The decor is a stunner as well as you dine under a cloud of flowers which I found really beautiful.
The hotel is situated perfectly for beach walks and just hanging out on a bench at the promenade, absorbing the beauty of the sea. I was there at the end of January so it was cold-ish but still absolutely gorgeous. The hotel also offers spa treatments and afternoon tea, so you definitely won’t run out of things to do. The city centre is a short walk away if you fancy shopping or some arcades.
I 100% recommend Roslin beach hotel for a perfect getaway.
