August has been a busy and exciting month discovering new places and visiting some Insta famous ones.
39 Steps coffee, Soho
This was a surprise find. I have never seen it or been to it before but it is perfect and I definitely recommend a visit if you are in Soho. Even if you are not in Soho, put it on your list to visit. The pancakes are to die for – I cannot wait to go back and eat another portion as they are perfect. Fluffy, not too sweet and just with the right fruit to sauce ratio. The coffee is really good too, which sometimes is rare to find in London. If you are a coffee lover, their roast is top notch. It is not too big, so it creates a warm cosy feeling, which I love. Also, you can just sit on the bar and watch people walk by – favourite sport.
Hans Bar and Grill, Chelsea
OK, not such a new kid on the block now. I visited in July, and it had recently opened. The interiors are perfection, the shades of green, marble and grey are right down my alley. However, what I truly loved, was the staff. They were super nice, kind and welcoming and cracked a few jokes. I love when people create the atmosphere and Hans Bar and Grill is definitely a place that won’t disappoint if you want a pleasant atmosphere. Hit the dessert menu, thank me later 😉 I had the butternut panna cotta and it was more than good – it was ‘give me another one but I am too embarrassed to ask for a second dessert’ good.
Feya is a pink, flowery heaven for all that love a photogenic brekkie or brunch. Beautiful tones of pinks, ivory and white, surrounded by a cloud of flowers hanging from the ceiling. You can also sit outside, right opposite St Christopher’s place and sip your coffee watching people. I loved the chia pot, it is pretty and tasty and healthy – where else can you find something like this?
Those are my August favourites, cannot wait to share some September ones.
