I am writing this post for the industry, not that one more piece of content will change the world but it makes me feel better for sharing. I am writing this post for all the content creators out there as well – do not sell yourselves short and appreciate your own work. Instagram and blogging have become  full time jobs/small business ventures for many. However, it seems that the marketing and PR industries still see it as a free form of advertising, or a meal for 2 worth of ads. I believe everything in life has a price (except all…

While I spent the month of Mayfair with The Athenaeum hotel, I had the chance to walk around my favourite neighbourhood and photograph everything I wanted. I have created a small guide to some of my personal favourite places (which are all a 15min walk maximum from the hotel by the way, should you decide to stay there). Mayfair is not only glitzy cars and bling, it has a lot of beautiful, historical places that are totally worth the wander. Shepherds market Mount Street Burlington Arcade Coach and Horses Sketch Fortnum and Mason Annabel’s Wild things flowers Claridges Liberty Bond…

I wanted to write a post about the times that it has not been OK, the past year. I spend most of my time looking for the beautiful angles of life, to share on here and my Instagram. However, the past year has been a lot of things but I will struggle to call it beautiful for me. Sharing this post now is important, as I know that many people struggle during the holiday season. Sitting and scrolling through people’s ‘perfect’ lives on social media does not help the feeling of loneliness, anxiety and fear. I just wanted to raise…

The season of being jolly has arrived but so has the rain and the cold. The weather conditions can make it difficult to enjoy the city walking around so here is a bit more of an ‘off the beaten path’ guide to a few of my favourite things to do on a rainy day. Science Museum Not off the beaten path but the less famous neighbour to the Natural History Museum, is one of my favourite getaways on a rainy day. Who doesn’t love a bit of a science moment. The reason I love this museum is its interactivity. I…

The perfect weekend, dreaming of it on a Tuesday. I am sure I am not the only one either, so let’s talk about it. A few weekends ago, I had a beautiful weekend spent with my lovely Matilde @mylondonfairytales , and here is a quick weekend getaway idea for you. East London is diverse, so what do you say we mix it up a bit, start at the Four Seasons, all 5 stars, end with a .40p bagel to die for? Up for it? The read on. Lunch at Mei Ume at the Four Seasons Matilde knows how to treat…

Rolls Royce Yes, this actually happened. I got to drive a Rolls Royce around London, and it is as good as it sounds – even better.  H. R Owen are the world’s best dealership for Rolls Royce, located in the heart of Mayfair’s Berkley Square.  I know it is so far fetched thinking about buying one, however if you do, this is the place to purchase it from, as the guys are the best in the business, literally. For souls like me, who are not planning on buying anything more than a fancy pair of shoes, this is what it…

You have now taken the first step towards your AirBnB hosting experience – made up your spare room, or your flat, and ready to get that listing going.  Setting up your basic listing is easy, a few steps and then you are ready to go. However, in a place like London competition is high. So how do you make it stand out? When you are a new host, you do not get a star rating It might be difficult for your first guest to make a booking without any references. AirBnB gives you the option to get references from your…

Becoming a host on AirBnB can be an interesting decision. I started hosting back in 2015 but it took me awhile to get onboard with the idea. Strangers? In my home? Not for me…However, I gave it some more thought and given how many people are doing it, I convinced myself to get over the bias and give it a try.  I love  meeting new people and making friends, and I thought that through hosting on AirBnB I can give it a try. At the end of the day, if it did not work out, I could always take the…

Well, let me tell you – Chelsea Flower show is huge, huger than huge, it is an absolute ‘stop everything you are doing’ it is Chelsea Flower show time. Let’s talk about it and why is it so important, and why it should be on your must visit list every year if you are in town when it is happening. First, it is all about them flowers. Pretty, colourful and the best of British. Flowers are a big thing in London (and I assume…
